First, the destruction...

Just to start the blog off, here are a couple of shots which I took of the demolition of the old JGHS buildings.

13th November 2013 - the old Lauder building is reduced to a pile of rubble...

 Just the clock tower and the stage of the old Assembly Hall still standing...

 By 5th December 2013 the rubble was mostly gone...

 ...as was the clock tower.

By 11th December 2013 all the buildings are reduced to a flat clear site, with just the painstaking dismantling of the old chimney still to go.

All ready to start the preparations for the New JGHS.
